User Reviews

Punch Time Clock is praised for ease of use, reliability, and value, especially the free version and optional one-time upgrade. Users favor its mobile access and straightforward time-tracking features. A key recurring issue is data export being paywalled on certain plans and mixed feelings about pricing changes. Overall, the app is seen as practical and straightforward for tracking work hours.
Pros
  • Very easy to use with a simple, intuitive UI and reliable performance for tracking hours
  • Mobile-friendly design; works well on a phone instead of relying on a calendar on the fridge
  • Strong free version with a fair-value, one-time paid upgrade option
  • Generally viewed as practical and straightforward for everyday time tracking
  • Data export/portability is available, aiding data management (availability varies by plan)
Cons
  • Data export is paywalled on some plans, limiting portability for free users
  • Pricing model changes (trial period leading to payment) elicit mixed reactions and concern among some users

This is a very useful app that i use everyday day during a work week. I beg on the next update to make it compatible with iPads. Very well done on this I look forward to the updates.

The app is fine for what it is. It’s very streamline, but there is a lack of features as well as for the iPhone 17. It doesn’t pop up at the top/the island so it’s hard to get back when you are currently “clocked in”. Also putting in time and date for days that you’re not currently on is trivial when it’s a decent bit back. In addition to the lack of ability to make multiple different job entries. Overall, I do believe with a few quality of life updates. This can be potentially a very good job timesheet.
