User Reviews

Reviews praise inFlow for being easy to use, fast, and feature-rich for inventory management (locations, sublocations, transfers, POs/SOs) with good team collaboration. However, recurring issues after updates, scanning and image-upload failures, removal of the mobile website option, and limited search capabilities (custom fields/serials) are common pain points. Apple-specific parity gaps (work orders, Mac/iOS support) are also noted.
Pros
  • Easy to use and fast for daily inventory tasks.
  • Rich inventory features, including locations/sublocations, transfers, POs/SOs, and granular user permissions.
  • Supports team collaboration by delegating tasks to nontechnical staff.
  • Improves organization by helping you locate inventory quickly.
Cons
  • Updates can make the app temporarily unusable by adding steps like sublocations and changing workflow.
  • Barcode scanning and image upload are unreliable, with errors such as Malformed Request JSON Body.
  • Mobile site functionality was removed to push the mobile app, reducing flexibility for some users.
  • Search capabilities are limited—cannot search by custom fields or serial numbers.
  • Apple users see limited parity with Android, including missing work orders and Mac/iOS-specific features.

This new update is unusable. I should not need to create a sub location when it was never needed before. My barcode scanner also does not work. The system worked just fine before this change. I now have to use the desktop website to do my inventory

There always seems to be one issue after another when taking a picture directly from the app to upload a picture for the product. I am currently getting the error “Malformed Request JSON Body” with no way to fix or remedy it. Please make this portion of the seamless, not sure why it works then it errors out randomly and won’t return to a working state.
