The app can see and control multiple Shield devices and includes a handy finder feature, but is plagued by repeated connectivity failures, keyboard/input problems, and laggy navigation. Timeouts and crashes force restarts, making it unreliable. It’s usable when stable, but frequent instability overshadows the positives.

Multi-device visibility and control (sees and controls multiple Shield devices).
Finder remote feature is handy/useful.
When functioning properly, the app can control devices smoothly without issues.

Cons

Frequent disconnects and unreliable pairing/connectivity; devices drop or fail to stay linked.
Keyboard/text entry is broken or inaccessible (keyboard not opening, text box issues) causing input failures.
Input/navigation performance is inconsistent: trackpad/ D-pad swipes can be erratic or laggy.
Overall instability with timeouts, crashes, and frequent restarts needed.

I am giving this app top marks as this was really, a needed app. I don’t use my controller much as I am not much into gaming. So this is handy as I don’t need to purchase a (almost impossible to find) compatible universal remote again.
