User Reviews

Users broadly report that FirstNet Assist is unreliable and frustrating. Recurrent issues include login failures, crashes, and slow performance. Most actions divert users to Safari or external sites rather than functioning inside the app, with billing largely unusable in-app after account merges. Support is seen as unhelpful, and the app design is regarded as low-budget with few in-app features. Overall sentiment is strongly negative, with many suggesting switching to AT&T for a more reliable experience.
Pros
Cons
  • App consistently redirects to Safari or external websites for most actions, making it feel like a browser rather than a self-contained app.
  • Billing/payments are not usable in-app; after account merge, autopay or bill viewing stops working and users must use AT&T's app or website.
  • Frequent login issues: cannot log in, 'continue' button not activating, and biometric login often not working.
  • Frequent crashes, timeouts, and slow performance, sometimes preventing launch or login.
  • Poor user experience and lack of features: clumsy design, no in-app support/contact info, and heavy reliance on outside sites; many users prefer AT&T app.

Garbage app, logs you out every single use and biometric login doesn’t work, is really just an internet short cut because anything you need to do is external to the app. Poorly designed and organized. The only reason I gave it 1 star was to write a review.

The app is horrible. I use my AT&T app to pay because so many issues on this app loading

After FirstNet made me merge to an ATT account my autopay got deleted and now FirstNet offers no billing through them and everything is done through att. I can’t even view my bill anymore and att says it’s a FirstNet issue. It’s like I’m a half att user but can’t use any of their features and FirstNet has now deleted everything off their app and the app is completely useless.
