User Reviews

Recurring user concerns cluster around privacy intrusion, strict time limits with limited passes, and reliability issues. Many report long hallway wait times and a dystopian feel, with frequent login bugs and crashes. The core frustration is the combination of surveillance-like control, time pressure, and poor stability.

Pros

Cons

Invasive privacy concerns and sense of surveillance (tracking trips, location; described as an ankle monitor or drone-like follow).
Strict time limits and pass quotas (5 minutes per bathroom visit; only 2 passes per day).
Reliability issues and bugs (frequent logouts on launch, sign-in problems, long loading times and crashes).
Perceived punitive/dystopian vibe (feels like jail; extensive monitoring and control over students).
Excessive wait times in the hallway (long lines and delays; multiple reports of waiting 30+ minutes or even hours).

I downloaded this app then a random 4’ 2’’ person came out of my phone then started hitting the gritty.Like an hour later another dude a bit taller came out of my phone and started speaking in Gen Alpha would. A bit later my phone ended up violently exploding destroying my entire house.

Look, as a totally normal 16 year old high school student, SmartPass is an absolute, game-changing masterpiece that completely revolutionized my daily existence, so please ignore all the negative reviews from haters who clearly just want to wander the hallways unsupervised!
