Heges 3D Scanner lets you create 3D models using the selfie FaceID camera and/or LiDAR on iPhone/iPad Pro. Export options include STL, OBJ, PLY, USDZ and GLB; view models in AR and share results. It offers two modes: a PAID In-App Purchase-based 3D scanner mode and a Color camera mode for older devices. Screen Sharing and AR viewing are supported.

Device guidance and notes: FaceID is typically more accurate than LiDAR for fine detail; for best accuracy, use 0.5mm precision with FaceID and avoid LiDAR for small objects. Recent reviews

I was very hesitant to pay for the app because I’ve already tried many others that did not work. I can say for a fact it works for at least my use case of getting quick and accurate scans of small objects, but the app should only charge people when they go to export because otherwise there’s no way of knowing if the app works until after you’ve paid. That way people can view their scan in the 3D viewer before deciding

Doesn’t actually let you try the app until you buy it, can’t find a refund option and the app does not perform as expected, crashes when loading files and fails to capture obvious details.
