Alerts are customizable with an Alert Schedule and the Always Sound option keeps certain CGM alerts audible even when your device is muted, vibrating, or in Do Not Disturb. You’ll receive Low and High glucose alerts, Urgent Low Soon, and Rise and Fall Rate; however, some safety-critical alarms (like Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped) cannot be silenced. Dexcom supports data sharing with Dexcom Followers and third-party health apps, plus privacy controls to manage who can view your glucose information.
