I love this channel and was so excited, but the app doesn’t work right on iPad

Can’t get rid of that damn bar. I don’t want to see it or type anything. Might be decent app, but don’t know if I am trying watch a video that half is blocked because message bar I am trying to remove. There is no option to get rid of it.
