User Reviews

User reviews show Panasonic Comfort Cloud can control the AC hardware effectively, especially after recent UI updates. However, the app is plagued by reliability and UX issues: login problems, server errors, unreliable temperature readings, and setup friction. OS compatibility concerns (iPadOS/iOS) and non-native UI add to user frustration. Some praise exists for stability when it runs and for improvements in recent updates, but overall the app struggles with consistency and polish.
Pros
  • AC units respond to app controls and hardware integration is generally solid.
  • New versions offer a cleaner UI and are easier to use.
  • Some users report the app is stable and reliable when it works (rare crashes).
  • Recent updates have fixed login issues for many users and improved reliability.
Cons
  • Frequent login/authentication problems and session logouts.
  • Persistent server/network errors and timeouts (internal server error, E03-0037-5005, etc.).
  • Unreliable temperature readings and inconsistent status updates.
  • Setup/connection friction and difficult pairing, including QR code access and OS compatibility issues on newer iPadOS/iOS versions.
  • UI/UX feels non-native and can be slow or laggy; features sometimes missing or not intuitive.

The A/C itself works fine. I had bought it counting on other smart capabilities like geo location turn on etc. This doesn’t come with it.

The new version is a bit less ugly, and easier to use, but a long way from feeling like a native iOS app. One big issue I have with it is that the indoor temperature can’t be trusted. It swings wildly from 8C to 22C. The older app version was more reliable in this regard.
