User Reviews

Reviewers largely praise Amaha as helpful for stress, anxiety, sleep, and mood, with practical tools like breathing exercises, meditation, journaling, and a relief bot. The app’s guided content is repeatedly described as calming and useful for daily self-care. However, recurring issues include significant stability bugs and crashes, especially around assessments, and a heavy paywall that requires a subscription to access core features, with pop-up prompts. Some users also report UI glitches such as blank screens. Overall, it has strong potential but reliability and pricing are major concerns.
Pros
  • Provides mental health support and helps reduce stress, anxiety, and mood symptoms.
  • Contains practical tools such as guided breathing exercises, meditation, journaling, and a relief bot.
  • Calming audio sessions and sleep aids that improve rest.
  • Safe, private logging of feelings and progress.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and stability issues, especially when loading assessments or starting tasks.
  • Significant subscription costs / paywall to access core features; many users feel the pricing is too high.
  • In-app prompts to purchase bundles and pay-only features negatively affect user experience.

I like it and have found it to be helpful. I has a lot of cool features and helpful tips. However, the fact that I have to pay to “unlock more” is a bit discouraging and disappointing. I wish that everything could be available to use because honestly, no one should have to pay for help and healing. But since that’s how things work, I am grateful for the things on this app that are free and I hope one day it can be completely free for everyone.
