ArtPose Pro offers strong anatomical references, adjustable musculature, and helpful preset poses with good lighting for quick reference. However, users repeatedly encounter a clunky interface and imprecise posing without a gizmo, limited multi-character scenes (only two characters), no export to OBJ, poorly organized pose presets, and limited body-morph options. These recurring issues hamper workflow, especially for fine-tuning poses and integrating with other tools.

Pros

Strong anatomy reference with adjustable musculature and extensive preset poses.
Good lighting system for quick lighting reference.
Ability to rotate the model and build scenes with props and multiple characters.
Useful as a quick reference for angles and perspective.

Cons

Clunky, non-intuitive controls; posing is hard to fine-tune without a gizmo.
Cannot place more than two characters; limited multi-character scene (hard to get models to face each other).
No export option to OBJ or other apps.
Pose presets are poorly organized with no naming or numbering, making it hard to locate specific poses.
Limited morph/body customization; cannot easily adjust fat distribution or create more varied body shapes.

I used this app on previous iPads and it was ok. Have been trying to get it working on my latest (2024) iPad and now most of the interface doesn’t work. Waste of time and money.

It’s a great idea with a lot of potential. But there’s one major problem: at least on an iPhone, you cannot move the two human models relative to each other! I can move added objects around, I can pose the two models, but I absolutely cannot figure out how to make them face each other or exist in any other relation to each other than the one that appears by default.
