CBORD Patient

Unfortunately I'm stuck in the hospital more than I'd like, and while the app's dietary/menu calculator actually works well, none of that matters if you can't even log in. This login system is a mess. It remembers old email addresses and won't let you register with them again, but it also won't accept the correct password for an existing account — every combination throws an "invalid password/ID" or "cannot connect to system" error, even with a brand-new email and password. I burned through every email address I have and got locked out every single time. If this happens to first-time users too, good luck. And once you're locked out, you lose all visibility into your accumulated dietary restrictions when ordering — which defeats the entire purpose of the app. I can't tell if this is the hospital's IT setup or the app itself, but from where I'm sitting, it doesn't matter — it's broken either way. If hospitals are clearing old email addresses at discharge, that might help, but that shouldn't be the patient's problem to troubleshoot. Posting this because a shaky login system is the last thing a stressed, possibly non-tech-savvy patient needs to deal with from a hospital bed.

Title says it all. UI is all dorked up, you can't see the numbers or dates you just typed. When you do manage to get everything configured, it's just a white screen. For those struggling with this POS, facility code is on the printed menu: ccmain and your Medical Record Number (MRN) should be on your wristband or somewhere in MyCharts (or just ask your nurse). Seriously, this is so broken it should just get yanked from the App Store.
