Scanner doesn’t work

I have lots of apps and most I don’t want notifications. If you don’t have notifications on the app opens with a pop up that says to turn them on but you can’t close it off. I was doing a free trial but I think I will cancel it now. I don’t know why notifications are being used this way but I don’t feel comfortable using this app. Going to quit the free trial and delete
