User Reviews

Users commonly report that BroadSoft UC-One can function for making and receiving VoIP calls when the network is solid and is useful for work-from-home setups. However, the majority of reviews highlight reliability problems: frequent dropped calls, login issues, ringing delays or missed calls, voicemail misbehavior, and transfer difficulties. These issues recur across many reviews, indicating inconsistent reliability for business users.
Pros
  • Allows making and receiving VoIP calls on iPhone, especially when the network is strong (WiFi or mobile data).
  • Helpful for work-from-home and business use, fitting remote work workflows.
  • Operates on multiple iPhone models (e.g., iPhone XS, iPhone 11), indicating broad device compatibility.
Cons
  • Frequent dropped calls and degraded call quality across many reviews.
  • Persistent login/sign-in/sign-out issues and difficulty staying logged in or signing back in.
  • Incoming/outgoing call timing problems: rings late, delays in audio, or misrouting to voicemail.
  • Voicemail access issues or calls going straight to voicemail without ringing.
  • Call transfer difficulties or awkward transfer process.

I use this mostly with good WiFi and it does make and receive calls. Would be excellent if I could pick my Home Screen from the available options. Kinda painful to always open to messages screen, select dial pad from the menu screen, make a call and return to the message screen upon disconnect. Every call shouldn’t need menu plus dial pad taps to initiate. Just leave me where I was or let me pick my Home Screen. Thanks

This app does what it needs to do, it makes calls easily and as long as you have decent connection you should be good to go. I use it on an iPhone 11 with mobile data and I haven’t had any issues, except for not being able to keep the call on speaker for the whole duration of the call. Other than that, it’s great and very useful when working from home!
