Avid VENUE | On-Stage adds personal monitor mixing capabilities to VENUE | S6L and VENUE | S3L-X systems.

VENUE | On-Stage allows controlling individual Aux mixes from iPad or iPhone devices. Just connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your VENUE console and select your mix. Additionally, control of the Mains mix is available.

REQUIREMENTS Minimum supported console software versions: VENUE 5.6.0 for S6L and VENUE 4.6.0 for S3L-X systems. S6L: Wireless router must be connected to the ECx port of the console. S3L-X: Wireless router must be connected to the ECx port of the E3 engine. Up to 16 simultaneous connections to the same console are supported.

This is fine to let a musician control their own IEM mixes. But that's it. No access to channel EQ, dynamics, graphics etc. Even Behringer can make a good ipad app, why can't Avid?

Engineers looking to use this app are simply in the wrong place looking at the wrong thing. This is designed for MUSICIANS to fail in their own levels. The engineer should do eq and dynamic work on the desk. Great work avid. Ignore all the other reviews who are clearly misinformed.

How many musicians set their own mix on a show using these desks? I loaded this app to set up off stage mixes and video feeds with the matrixes. Nope, those don’t exist. Can’t even get to groups. Where’s the app that is actually useful to mix and system engineers?
