We can’t say enough good things about Patrick and the support he has provided to both me and my wife during our relocation to New York City. From the very beginning, Patrick has had incredible energy. He is extremely kind, experienced, patient, and you can genuinely tell that he loves what he does. What has impressed us the most is how much he goes above and beyond what is expected. He doesn’t just give you a quick answer or point you to a website. He takes the time to explain things in depth, follows up, and makes sure you actually know what to do next. For example, when we needed to get our Social Security numbers, he walked us through the entire process: which website to use, how and where to book the appointment, what documents to bring, and what to expect. When we needed to open our first U.S. bank account before having an SSN, he knew which bank could help us and actually came with us in person to the appointment and supported us through the process. After that, he accompanied us to the phone store so we could get our first U.S. phone numbers. He also spent a lot of time helping us understand New York itself. We had a dedicated session where he walked us through different neighborhoods, what it is like to live in each one, their pros and cons, what we should pay attention to when looking for an apartment, and which areas might not be the best fit for us. He is also helping us with our apartment search. And it goes well beyond the essential relocation tasks. Patrick created a personalized map for us with recommendations around NYC, including restaurants, places to play tennis and padel, sports and other things to do. He is also going to help us understand the process of getting our driver’s licenses here. Most importantly, throughout the entire process, Patrick has been consistently checking in on both me and my wife and making sure that we are settling in well. Moving to a new country involves a huge number of small things that you don’t necessarily know about until you have to deal with them, and having someone with Patrick’s experience, knowledge and attitude supporting us has made a real difference. He regularly goes beyond the time allocated to help us and never makes anything feel rushed. His energy is always positive, he explains things with genuine care, and he makes you feel that he really wants your relocation to be successful, rather than simply completing a checklist. We are extremely grateful for everything Patrick has done for us. He has made our transition to New York significantly easier and has been one of the best parts of our relocation experience. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone relocating to NYC.
