User Reviews

User reviews show a promising DiverLog+ concept with solid media support and the ability to download dives and view detailed stats on the phone, but it is plagued by reliability problems. Recurrent data loss after updates, reinstallations, or switching devices undermines trust and portability. Sync between devices and with the cloud is inconsistent, and logins (including Facebook) often fail. GPS/mapping is error-prone—dive sites can be in the wrong place, and coordinates can be overwritten. The app crashes, stalls during firmware updates, and occasional UI usability issues persist. Support appears weak.
Pros
  • Download feature from dive computer and attach media to dives.
  • Syncs to phone with detailed depth/time info when it works.
  • Centralized log of dives with attached media that helps review dives.
Cons
  • Frequent data loss across updates, reinstallations, or device changes; dives, photos, and notes vanish.
  • Poor or unreliable data synchronization across devices and cloud; cannot transfer data; data saved on device only; login issues.
  • GPS/location editing is limited or inaccurate; dive sites can be mislocated or coordinates overwritten by map searches.
  • Stability issues: app freezes, crashes, won't open, update gets stuck.
  • Login/authentication problems and weak support; Facebook login failures; multiple versions causing fragmentation; support responsiveness poor.

I love the download feature from my dive computer and the storage of photos, videos and links against the dives works well. Entering dive information is clumsy , it seems that the addition of a few “back buttons” would save me from having to partially key in dive site information then close the app to continue entering more info on another page. I reached out to the developers and they contacted me back a few times but the problem has not been resolved months later. My phone and iOS are up to date so I don’t think it’s me, their documents show a back button but it is simply not on the screen. Update: would like to be able to download dives and key information to MS Excel.

Used to work great, now app will not discover the PROPLUS 4.0 via Bluetooth to download dive record. It WILL connect to Bluetooth to download device data for support, but not to download dive records. Very frustrating. Multiple emails to support have gone unanswered.

This app is unfortunately the app required to use if you have the Aqualung i330R dive computer. From the start, the registration user interface is archaic and glitchy. I never was able to successfully update the firmware on the dive computer. With the past recall associated with this dive computer, and the inability to update the firmware, I’m less than thrilled to use this very important piece of dive equipment. After a few hours of trying unsuccessfully, the system began giving me an error code, indicating that my email address wasn’t valid. The dive computer is easy to use but because of the app, I don’t see how anyone could feel comfortable buying this dive computer.
