Users largely praise Elation Go for quick mobile access to patient information, document uploads, and a modern UI that aids workflow. However, it lacks core EHR features (calendar, Rx refills, test results, notes, demographics updates), has weak admin capabilities requiring a desktop, and faces login and reliability issues. These recurring drawbacks significantly limit its usefulness compared with the desktop version.

Easy mobile access to patient information on the go
Document uploading/scanning works well and allows attaching photos/Documents to charts
Basic messaging capability is available
Modern, clean UI that aids daily workflow

Cons

No calendar/schedule view on mobile; calendar integration is missing
Very limited clinical/administrative features (Rx refills, lab results, visit notes, demographics updates) and overall functionality is largely read-only
Administrative tasks require desktop/web access; backend support on mobile is lacking
Cumbersome login process and unreliable Face ID/authentication
General reliability and parity with the desktop EHR version are poor

What a ridiculous app. It just simply doesn’t work. Every time I see my doctor, I beg them to dump this piece of junk App and get “My Chart”app! The answer that every customer hates it and wants them to change it! Elation App notifies me of my doctors appointments, but it doesn’t even have the physician they text me about my appointment yet this same physician is not listed on my app chart! The app is just a bad joke! Don’t waste your time downloading it!

Unfortunately, this app is not useful to us. At the bare minimum, office messages should show up on the Home Screen. We should be able to access faxes(results). It doesn’t even show you the chronological record in the patient chart. It’s literally worthless to me.
