User Reviews

Users praise Bodylura for diverse programs, motivating trainers, clear short workouts, and strong nutrition tools, but repeatedly report reliability issues (crashes, slow loading), casting/Apple Watch problems, limited workout customization, and gaps in fiber tracking and meal-plan flexibility. Billing and support concerns also surface. Overall, it’s a comprehensive, affordable fitness app that struggles with stability and customization.
Pros
  • A wide variety of programs and trainers that keeps users motivated and supports long-term consistency.
  • Clear, structured workouts that fit into busy schedules (roughly 20–45 minutes) with helpful form tips.
  • An all-in-one fitness ecosystem featuring macro tracking, recipes, and meal ideas alongside workouts.
  • Flexible use across gym, home, and outdoor settings, with calendar planning and support for different life stages (e.g., pregnancy, postpartum).
  • Continual updates and a comprehensive range of programs offer strong value for the price.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes, freezes, and slow performance that disrupt workouts and require restarts.
  • Casting to TV and local network issues, plus Apple Watch integration problems that hinder tracking and casting.
  • Limited workout customization and navigation, making it hard to preview trainers’ workouts, mix moves, or tailor sets to one machine.
  • Nutrition features feel restrictive (no fiber tracking, few meal plan variations, limited automation for weekly plans).
  • Billing/cancellation friction and slow customer support reported by some users.

Every time I leave the app to change my playlist, it literally starts my workout over FROM THE BEGINNING. Do better. Hire better software developers! Save people’s progress! Dumping this app when my year is over.

The workouts inculcated consistency and discipline for the last 3 years and I set to move to advanced level workouts . Best for anyone who needs a little nudge and motivation to workout

I love the concept of this app. Overall it seems to have really great content. I’ve been trying to follow the Strength program and that’s where I run into issues. The program has supersets that want you to jump from either machine to machine or from machine to dumbbells/barbells and/or jump boxes. Essentially it’s got you running all over the gym. The bigger problem is it’s one set here and one set there, so when you move from a leg curl to do split squats, you may have to wait for the leg curl machine because someone got on it when you stepped away. And the program expects you to do 5-10 sets. This just isn’t practical in any of the gyms I go to. If there’s a way to tailor a program that allows you to do all sets at the same machine or area before moving on to the next, it would be appreciated!
