User Reviews

Reviews praise ServicePlanner for robust field service planning, strong data organization, and reliable Dropbox-based backup/sync with a clean interface. The main drawbacks are lack of Android support, non real-time cross-device syncing, stability hiccups, and integration issues with Territory Helper and media links. Users also call out platform gaps like no iCloud Drive, no Mac native app, and missing widgets or manual territory entry. Overall, it’s highly valued for ministry workflows but could improve cross-platform support and reliability.
Pros
  • Robust field service planning and activity tracking (return visits, scheduling, reminders, and notes).
  • Excellent data organization with history import and territory handling (log past months, group visits by neighborhood, import from Territory Helper, GPS locating visits, NW Publisher sync).
  • Reliable backup and cross-device sync via Dropbox (works across iPad/iPhone; keeps data safe).
  • Clean, intuitive interface that makes data entry fast (easy address lookup, clear navigation).
  • Strong ministry-focused features that support pioneers and congregations in planning and reporting.
Cons
  • No Android version; platform limitation.
  • Cross-device syncing isn’t real-time; changes require closing/relaunch to refresh.
  • Stability issues like blue screen on startup or app not opening.
  • Integration/import problems (Territory Helper imports can fail; video links break; limited export options such as summary emails).
  • Platform/feature gaps (Dropbox-only sync with no iCloud Drive support, no macOS native app, no widgets, limited manual territory entry).

My only complaint is there’s no android version. My friends mostly have android phones but they love the app when I show it off to them. I love the backup feature.

I like the way the app allows you to add your field service activity for the previous months. It’s the only app I could find that allowed me to add my activities from my old app and phone. Also, the ability to use gps to locate my return visits is extremely helpful in the ASL field. It also syncs with NW Publisher! Nice feature!
