User Reviews

Reviews praise the app for convenient mobile access and useful railcard deals, especially for international travelers. However, most repeated concerns are renewal difficulties, reliability problems (loading delays, missing photos, and card display errors), lack of wallet integration (Apple/Google Wallet), dependence on internet at stations, and usability challenges for older users.
Pros
  • Convenient to have the Railcard on your phone, simplifying travel.
  • Great deals/discounts when the Railcard works.
  • Easy to understand for international travelers and first-time users.
Cons
  • Renewal is difficult or overly complicated.
  • Reliability issues: slow loading, ID photo often fails to load, and card display errors.
  • Lack of Apple Wallet (and limited wallet integration) – users want Apple/Google Wallet support.
  • Requires internet to display the card; offline use at stations is problematic.
  • Usability issues for older or less tech-savvy users, including lack of in-app help or instructions.

Works but I wish there was an option to add it to your Apple Wallet

Difficult to renew!

Regularly doesn’t load ID photo and is in general very slow. When it does work, it’s great, but it’s also a very simple app.
