User Reviews

Users repeatedly struggle with reliability: messages and updates either don’t load or appear as blank screens even though notifications come through. The app often requires reinstalling, crashes or closes shortly after opening, and is hard to use for managing multiple children or schools. The core feature—parent–teacher messaging and daily updates—has potential, but persistent UX, performance, and content-loading issues make the app feel unreliable and frustrating.
Pros
  • Centralized channel for parent–teacher communication and updates.
  • Push notifications alerting you to new notes, messages, or updates.
  • Designed to deliver notes and photos about your child’s day in one place.
  • Potentially a great resource for real-time updates when it works.
Cons
  • Messages and updates don’t appear in the app despite notifications; blank screens or no visible content.
  • Frequent instability requiring uninstall/reinstall to access messages.
  • App crashes or closes unexpectedly and freezes, especially after updates.
  • Poor UX/navigation, especially when switching between multiple children or schools; not intuitive.
  • Missing or inconvenient features (no timestamps, limited photo viewing, slow/laggy updates).

I constantly have to reinstall the app. I’ll get pop up notifications that there have been updates or messages from the teacher, but when I open the app it is stuck and isn’t showing anything. After reinstalling, the issue is fixed, but you should not need to constantly reinstall an app at least once or twice a week in order to utilize it, especially when it’s an app that is supposed to keep you updated on your child while they are in school.

After a couple days, you have to delete the app and re-download it so that you can read messages. Otherwise you’ll be notified but receive a blank screen.

If you switch your kid from one place to another, good luck. And tech support is useless. Sad.
