Focal Point Freedom is a mobile-access extension for Focal Point access control systems that lets you monitor and manage your building’s security from anywhere. From the app, you can view system activity and filter it by type, and issue commands to devices to lock/unlock doors, grant access, or control output points for lights and other devices.

You can deactivate and reactivate cardholders and system operators, acknowledge predefined alarms, and monitor alarms in real time. The download is free, but registration with the Focal Point system is required for operation.

This app is terrible! No rhyme or reason to working properly. I find myself waiting on someone else to activate before I can even leave or return.

This app never works and I need to open and close it multiple times to finally get access. It is one of the worst apps I have ever used. Avoid using it if at all possible. I wish I could give it zero stars
