User Reviews

Users valued 911 Feed for real-time emergency updates and transparent incident details when it worked, and appreciated the free, ad-free experience. However, repeated reports show the app not loading or crashing on launch, stale data, and being down for extended periods with little support. Some note a move toward a paid model and OS compatibility issues, leading to overall reliability concerns despite its potential usefulness.
Pros
  • Real-time emergency updates (location, time, reason, units dispatched) when the app works.
  • Free to use with no ads.
  • Provides an informative, transparent view of emergencies in your area when functioning.
  • Historically a go-to emergency updates app and well-regarded when it worked.
Cons
  • Won't open or crashes on launch (white screen, endless loading).
  • Data does not update or sync; information often remains stale.
  • App down for weeks/months with little to no updates or support.
  • Recently appears to require payment/subscription, which frustrates users.
  • Compatibility issues or crashes after iOS updates, making the app unreliable.
Recent reviews
911feed is officially dead. With the introduction of Pulsepoint to the rest of the Pacific Northwest, the developers of this app gave up. Years ago, this app was the go-to. Now, calls no longer load. There were no notifications. Pulsepoint sends notifications. Do not download. 3.5/5 stars when it was live. That has fallen to 0. Request that this app be taken off of the app store.

This app won’t even open. Crashes every time I try to open it. It is up to date and so is my phone.
