User Reviews

LaserHIT scores high on accuracy, ease of setup, and strong training value, especially for at-home practice and hardware integration. Users enjoy smooth performance and the ability to save/analyze session results. Main downsides are cost (subscription/feature unlocks), setup sensitivity to lighting, and occasional reliability issues after updates, including miscounts. Overall, it’s a powerful dry-fire trainer if you can tolerate the price and occasional bugs.
Pros
  • Accurate hit detection for reliable training feedback
  • Easy setup and smooth operation with rich features
  • Excellent for at-home dry-fire practice and training value
  • Strong hardware integration (laser cartridges, training tools) and drill customization
  • Ability to save and analyze session results (hits) for progress tracking
Cons
  • Expensive subscription model and add-on pricing for full features
  • Setup is tedious and heavily lighting-dependent, leading to miscounts and long prep
  • Updates often introduce bugs or regressions and may impact functionality
  • Hit counting can be inconsistent due to lighting/camera limitations (e.g., double-counting)
  • In-app statistics/history are limited or hard to access; relies on external storage like photos

LaserHIT is an awesome training tool — accurate, easy to set up, and a lot of fun to use. It’s one of the best ways I’ve found to get meaningful practice in at home without burning through ammo, and the app runs smoothly with plenty of great features. The only drawback is the pricing model. To really unlock the system you have to pay a monthly fee for the Pro version, and it’s noticeably higher than what most apps charge. It would be nice if more came included with the base purchase instead of needing an ongoing subscription. Overall, though, LaserHIT delivers a great training experience. If you don’t mind the recurring cost, it’s hard to beat.

The program works very well. My only complaint is there is no way to minimize the window or close the program.
