Littlescribe recognises that when children feel their writing has purpose, there is a clear correlation in their engagement at school and at home.

Parents tell us they want their children to be capable writers. But instead writing is hidden under desks or at the bottom of school bags, crumpled (a little unloved) and unread.

Your child’s writing showing up as calendars, posters, books and cards provides purpose, drives a desire to write and in turn drives all their literacy skills - reading, writing, drawing, editing, spelling, handwriting and so much more. It’s simple and effective.

Working with teachers we have transformed reluctant writers into engaged and focused ‘authors’. We have online resources, books written by other kids and videos that you can you use to inspire and guide. Our simple and effective approaches have got thousands of children writing - real books, calendars, cards and posters.

The Littlescribe app allows you to snap and collate each page to create a digital or printed project. Children love to share their writing with family and friends as a hard copy or digital book, calendar, card or poster via their secure book club.

You can use artwork at home or from school as inspiration, write together, take turns or work separately - most importantly, just have fun.
