User Reviews

Users praise Apple Fitness for its broad workout library, trainers, music, and meditation, and its impact on fitness goals via the iPhone. However, recurring issues include reliability and accuracy problems: crashes, inaccurate or non-updating metrics, and playback disruptions. There’s also frustration with inconsistent experiences across devices (iPad/mac) and frequent subscription prompts with perceived value concerns. Overall, content and features are strong, but stability, metric reliability, and cross-device consistency need improvement.
Pros
  • Wide variety of workouts, trainers, and music options with meditation features
  • Positive impact on fitness goals (e.g., weight loss) and easy access to workouts
  • Strong mobile experience on iPhone with generally reliable core features
Cons
  • App crashes or won’t open reliably
  • Metrics and rings are inaccurate or not updating (steps/calories) and syncing problems
  • Video playback issues during workouts (pauses, cannot rewind/fast-forward)
  • Cross-device limitations and inconsistent experience (iPad lacks features; MacBook access requested)
  • Frequent subscription prompts and perceived high pricing/limited value

This was absolutely awful it inaccurately tracks results and the notifications are insane there’s no way to uninstall or silence notifications so I’m stuck in misery this was terrible because it sent notifications telling me to eat more calories for my dailey average, meaning it automated notifications because how is it tracking my calories if there’s no feature allowing it to do that making this undiscovered I highly do not recommend this will give you thet why me out of all people feeling

I enjoy how easy to use it is and that the information is easy to read. My request would be to add “Rucking” to the available exercises to choose from. Considering how popular rucking has become (and it’s only getting more and more popular) I’m very surprised that it’s not one of the exercise options available for users.
