Features & Capabilities

Marea helps you estimate the area for a region defined by coordinates. It is useful for plots, farmland, roof measurements, and anything you can see on a map. The total area is calculated in multiple units (m², ft², acres, ha, km², mi²) and the distance between consecutive points is also provided.

Premium features include saving measured areas, adding notes, attaching pictures, calculating a price by multiplying a value with the area, and sharing results as a map image or KML file. You can also switch to Google Maps for clearer imagery when needed. Note that elevations are not taken into account and this tool does not replace professional surveying. Privacy policy and terms are available via the linked policy.

Great for small businesses and rough estimates for distance whether you want to see the distance between two cities or the size of a property the app is great

This new update is horrible. Use to open the app and it would bring me to my location. Now it’s zoomed out to whole country and now I have to zoom all the way in. Also having problems placing pins after deleting old ones.
