Set canvas sizes from 5x5 to 256x256, adjust export pixel size, and reflect layers vertically or horizontally. The app supports color palettes (up to 150 colors) and easy saving. Note: To prevent crashes, a minimum of 150MB of free space is recommended when creating a new project.

Pixelable is beginner-friendly with a strong pixel-art toolset and handy tutorials, plus easy export to the camera roll. However, it suffers from intrusive ads, stability issues (save/export crashes and no auto-save), limited project organization, and missing export options like transparent backgrounds. Layer/tool bugs and a small canvas limit also appear in reviews. Overall, great for quick pixel art work, but stability and workflow improvements are needed for longer projects.

Recent reviews

I mainly downloaded this app for making sonic sprites, but now that I’m used to it after the first day of using it, it reminds me of my main drawing app, Ibis paint! I’d recommend this app to anyone interested in pixel media.
