User Reviews

Users praise Pliability for its mobility test, structured, guided routines, and real mobility improvements, with adjustable daily sessions and calming audio. However, the majority of feedback centers on billing and onboarding frustrations: auto-renewals, refunds denial, opaque policies, and difficult cancellation; poor customer service; sign-up obstacles (website redirect, Apple login issues). Some also warn the content can be too advanced and the app's value for money is questioned. Overall, it works well for mobility if you can navigate the sign-up and billing.
Pros
  • Mobility test with a personalized, guided program that targets your mobility needs.
  • Structured, purposeful routines that reduce guesswork and help you stay consistent.
  • Clear improvements to mobility and daily function (hip/squat mobility, back relief, better recovery).
  • Calming voice/music and engaging instruction that make the workouts enjoyable and easy to follow.
  • Ability to adjust daily session length (longer or shorter) to fit your schedule.
Cons
  • Billing and renewal practices are repeatedly described as opaque or abusive, with auto-renewals and non-refundable charges.
  • Poor customer support, reliance on AI/chat and lack of live assistance.
  • Horrible onboarding and sign-up friction, including forced website sign-up and Apple login issues.
  • Cancellation is not straightforward, with multiple prompts and retention tactics that hinder immediate cancellation.
  • Perceived low value for price and limited content; expensive for a collection of stretches and limited depth.

I purchased their mat for my practice. When it arrived, I wasn’t happy with the quality at all. It seemed cheaply made with a thin rubber mat as the top layer, and styrofoam padding underneath which was exposed, which made me feel like it wouldn’t take long to peel. This mat cost $150, which is as much if not more than a premium yoga mat. While I was technically able to return it, they said they weren’t responsible for shipping costs to return. I had no problem until I realized that return shipping would cost me at least $100. I asked if they had another option, which they did not. I explained that I was unhappy with the mat, but it also made no sense for me to pay shipping costs that were as much as the mat itself. They offered me a complimentary 3 month membership of their app to make things right. I then asked for a 6 month membership to at least cover the majority of my loss on the mat. But they stuck to their 3 month offer, which I eventually declined and let them know I’d look to find another company to business with. As much as I wanted to do this program, that whole experience didn’t seem fair, and I wouldn’t feel right supporting them any further.

I had used the app during the free trial and decided I didn’t want to use it so I cancelled. I was charged $200 and was told I can’t have a refund. Which was super upsetting. I opened the app to use it since I was denied a refund and it says my member is inactive and if I wanted to reactivate it I would have to pay. This is by far the worst experience I have had with an app. Do not give this app a try unless you are certain you want to use it.
