User Reviews

Overall, users like the app for free, accessible ASL learning and real-life usefulness, especially for families. Recurrent issues are intrusive ads (and ad-free purchases not always working), content/accuracy concerns (some signs incorrect or unclear), and limited playback/progress features. The app succeeds as a free learning tool but ad problems and quality gaps are common complaints.
Pros
  • Free to learn ASL with many reviewers noting no upfront paywall
  • Easy to use and beginner-friendly
  • Helps real-life communication with deaf or hard-of-hearing people
  • Engaging videos and graphics that aid quick learning
  • Kid-friendly and family-friendly content
Cons
  • Ads are intrusive and cover a large portion of the screen
  • Ad-free purchases sometimes do not remove ads or deliver promised content; support contact is hard to find
  • Some signs are incorrect or unclear, reducing accuracy
  • Limited playback controls (no option to slow down videos) and limited progress tracking in games
  • Free content is limited; users want more free content

i’ve been looking for so many ASL sign language apps and I’m not dumb. I’m not deaf, but I’m not dumb. I have this one app that teaches me a lot of good things and it’s really great and I found so many apps that doesn’t really use the right sign language like are not real sign language ASL but when I tell you this app is the best so far this app is amazing. This app taught me so much everybody please get this app. Don’t waste your time on any other apps. Just get this app. This app is really good. I’ll say just only one thing I just really wish it was Internet free like I didn’t like. I wish I could do it off-line but so I don’t have to watch ads but it’s OK. Is that still good now? I love this app because you want you don’t have to pay for anything and you don’t even have to make an account you could just learn so cause a lot of users hate trying to make an account and that’s basically me cause I hate making an account and I don’t want an account just language I just wanna learn right there and then and it does even make you pay cause me personally I will never pay to learn sign language. That’s just crazy. I can go on YouTube and start learning for free, but this app does not make you pay at all so I think you should really get this app out of all the apps I have ever experienced in my life. This app bar the best is the best far from the worst. This one is amazing. Please get this app. You will not waste your time on this app I love how this shows actual people saying the words and showing you how to do it so 10 or 10 rating everybody please get this app surface too long.

I paid for the ad free version but the very annoying Remove Ads sign will not disappear from the screen. It takes up 75% of the screen so I can’t enlarge the videos. Especially under the Finger Spelling section. I have tried to close the app and restart a couple of times to no avail.
