User Reviews
I love Comic Draw, I wanted a bit of an upgrade, since Comic Draw was sometimes really difficult and glitchy at times, I thought Comic Connect was an upgrade of Comic Draw, where I could make graphic novels with upgraded tools or something. The images showed plain comic pages and strips so I didn’t know it wasn’t like that. There was no disclaimers or warnings that this app wasn’t for making comics. Please add that. It annoyed me a lot.

I like ComicConnect a lot, I love the graphic novels that everyone is making.
But… I searched up graphic novel maker not viewer. So… I think this app needs a place where people can actually make comics. 😬😑😬😑

The concept of Comic Connect, in my opinion, is absolutely genius! An app that allows you to publish comics straight out of the companion app, Comic Draw. But if you’re looking for more than a simple sharing platform, this sadly isn’t the best.
While Comic Connect is great for instant publishing, it’s still low on content. The simple hub only allows you to browse what’s most popular, what’s new, and what’s for you. I think the simple application of a search bar could go a long way. Making it easy for you to find certain creators, and comics. Also, despite the ability to mark a comic as a certain genre when publishing, I fail to see a genre select in the main hub.
On another note, for an app focused on promoting creativity, the selection is very bland. All comics are on a shelf like format. Not very appealing.
The app also does not allow you to promote and advertise your page. This plays in with the fact that there is no search bar. In order to find a certain publisher, you must find their comic, or scroll the “Top Charts”. However, if you do happen to find your specific publisher, we run into another problem. You are not allowed the option to brand your page. The only thing you can do, is post a profile picture. You may not display a personal banner, or give a page to a certain series. Any fan base that you may gain from this app will find it hard to follow along with the story, if you as a publisher are writing several storylines.
This app does something that WEBTOON or Tapas can never accomplish. The ability to publish on mobile, and to publish actual comics. Not the webcomic scrolling format. Regular style comics (Also, without the limit of each page size being 2MB). With the addition of features I have listed, I believe that this app can be the next big thing for all aspiring publishers.
Despite my critique, I am actually very young. I am an aspiring comic writer. And it depresses me to see that such a good app echo system doesn’t allow for branding. With these features, I believe that we will be able to make a place for more and more stories to be told, with much easier access.
Please take my ideas into consideration. These updates may allow me and many others to create and show off more comics in an easier, more professional way.
Thank You.
