The Florida 511 (FL511) Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS) is the state’s official source for real-time traffic information. The FL511 Mobile App is a planning tool that provides directions to any destination in Florida with travel times and alternate routes on most roadways throughout the state. Users can get information on crashes, congestion, construction, closures, and much more on Florida’s interstates, toll roads, and other major roadways.

When there is a traffic incident to report, FL511 Mobile App will announce it, helping drivers keep their attention on the road. A safety feature provides announcements about school zones, pedestrians, emergency vehicles, and red lights when available. Important: this app is intended to be used before the driver starts their trip; by downloading it you agree to use the app responsibly and to avoid interacting with devices while driving. FL511 does not support phone use while operating a vehicle, and is not liable for crashes. The app’s full functionality requires GPS; non-GPS devices or disabling GPS will limit features.
