Blindfold Greeting Card

Hello, I got this app about a year ago. But then I deleted it. I re-downloaded it again today, to see if it was really as bad as it was last year. But it was. Firstly, no offense, but I feel like the developer who made this app was being kind of lazy. I mean, it says all the greetings for a pre-recorded, But really, the developer just used text to speech and voice voices. Not only does the voice voices sound like robots, is it really that big of a deal not to just have someone say a sentence? Also, I tried to do a text to speech one, and record my voice greeting, and it told me I needed to buy stuff to do that. Why do you have to buy everything to be able to use the app in the way that you would like it to be used? Also the sound effects are good, but they’re not very easy to access. The first sound I tap on to hear it and see if I like it, it basically makes me select it. Also, I wanted to make another one after I made one greeting card, but it was still sent to the last one. So I entered the erase a card that was already sent, but it told me there was no card that was made in the last 30 minutes, which is wrong. it would be super awesome. If at least you would get these stuff fixed. And Rilee, you should be able to make your own voice recordings without paying a bunch of stuff. We are not rooming with money. So please stop making us pay for things that are overpriced and should already be on the app for free. I was really disappointed when I got this app, because it has a lot of potential. The idea is great, and I see so many awesome things coming from this app. But, the app is trashy and buggy. But if you fixed all of that, I would give it a five star rating. If you fix it, I will update the review and give you a five star rating. But you need to make it better. Thank you in advance, please fix this. And I am honestly not very impressed.

First of all, in order to get the full functionality of this app it will cost you a whopping $15! Purchasing the app is quite tricky and deceiving. In order to add the record your own greeting, you have to download it seperatly. The audio feature though listed as, “free,” if brought as part of the bundle cost $13 which makes no sense. The trick however is if you buy the “record audio” and remove branding individually, it will cost $10, but the way the bundle is listed you wind up paying an additional $5 to be able to import and edit files. This really makes it feel like a rip off. To add insult to injury, every time you create a card you have to redownload all 203 sound files over again. Turning the “force download” toggle does nothing. After you download all the files you are given no indication of what’s happening.. Seems as if once the files are downloaded, they have to be installed. No notice or indication of the files status and if you cancel it (since you don’t have any other buttons to choose from), you have to start all over again. I try to support developers of accessible apps, but this is very poorly done and needs lots of work. Strongly considering getting a refund since at this app is little more than a data hog.
