Features & Capabilities

Blindfold Games are entertainment apps provided as a service to the visually impaired community by Objective Ed. Your in-app upgrades pay for the development and support of these games.

Bowling is an fully accessible audio game that's similar to the ten pin bowling.

In Blindfold Bowling, you can play by yourself, against a variety of computer opponents, or side-by-side with another person.

You throw the bowling ball by either flicking with one finger, or aiming with one finger and flicking, or setting the exact angle with your thumb and forefinger, and then flick. The faster you flick, the faster you throw the ball.

You hear the ball rolling down the alley, and hitting pins. Like real bowling, you can get a strike, or a spare, or even miss completely with a gutter ball. And you can post your high scores to Facebook or Twitter.

Bowling was suggested by several blind gamers who enjoyed Blindfold Pong and Blindfold Spades.

The game includes several in-app upgrades, including a starter pack for unlimited play, an ability to customize your ball and the pins to make the game harder, to let you pick and customize your competitors, and side-by-side mode.

User Reviews

Hi, so I got this game a few months ago, and it is a really good game! It’s easy to play, and you don’t have to do a bunch of things to play it. but one thing. I feel like y’all should make their way to get coins if you don’t buy the game. I feel like you’re kind of manipulating people into buying your games. As blind people, we should be able to play games without having to buy every single game. I totally get having to buy some things, but can’t you just make us watch videos or ads to buy? That way, some people would still be tired of the ads and buy stuff, but in case people don’t have the money, they shouldn’t have to buy it if they don’t have the money and they still wanna play a game. this is something that I know a lot of people have commented on. I know that the money helps with the development of the games, but maybe you could figure out some other thing that you could buy to make your games more fun. Because honestly, Quinn are really, annoying. I have had so many useless apps on my phone because the trials are over. Thank you, and honestly, honestly, this game is really awesome! Keep up the great work!

Why do you need coins to even play the game. This app is literally useless on my phone because now I can’t even play it. My grandma told me that I get charged if I buy coins, and I don’t want her to get charged. Why can’t you purchase coins for free. Like, no credit card, no, App Store, no nothing. or, maybe you shouldn’t put coins in the game. It’s not fair. Thanks.
