User Reviews

Reviewers generally praise Sibly for 24/7 access, supportive coaches, and mood-tracking convenience, but many report barriers: you often need an access code to use the service, pricing isn’t transparent and can seem expensive, and coach quality can vary or feel repetitive. Some users also encounter stability issues with the app. Importantly, several reviews emphasize that Sibly is not a replacement for therapy and should be used as a supplementary tool for quick support and self-reflection rather than formal treatment.
Pros
  • 24/7 access to a coach for immediate support
  • Compassionate, helpful coaches who prompt reflection
  • Mood tracking and organizing thoughts to aid self-reflection
  • Convenient, easy-to-use app with flexible chat scheduling
  • Employer-provided access or broad accessibility for some users
Cons
  • Access code barrier; not open to public registration
  • Pricing is opaque and can feel expensive
  • Inconsistent coaching quality or generic/repetitive responses
  • Technical issues like crashes or the app not opening
  • Not a substitute for therapy; primarily a tool for reflection and mood management

I signed up for Sibly thinking they would help a ton with having someone to talk to. For 46$ a WEEK that is to be expected. They were reasonably helpful and always got back to me. However I had to consistently voice what I was looking for was not just them parroting back to me. Things were going well until one day I had a severe anxiety symptom I found very concerning. I told Sibly I did not need their help with this, and how the receptionists at my doctor’s office were giving me anxiety. I clarified I was getting the help I needed and had talked with other providers and who said it wasn’t an immediate concern. I had no history of mentioning anything remotely concerning, and they helped me. I thought all was well. the next day a lead coach reached out to me out of the blue saying they’d need to talk with me. I read reviews from the App Store and knew this meant the end of care. They made me wait for over 24 hours and said I couldn’t talk to anyone else in the meantime. I ended care immediately. I found a new website, a better one, called iPrevail, who, for 9.99 a month, have unlimited messaging features with trained people responding right away. Or you can get 90 minutes a day of chatting FOR FREE. SO much better than Sibly already. Would highly recommend NOT using this especially if you’re going through a rough time.

This app was advertised to me as a wellness app with reps who would help you put together a plan for health and wellness. Instead they just keep asking questions and validating what I say over and over with no end in the conversation. I used to be a counselor for Crisis Text Line so I know how it works, but with no work to end the questioning and create a plan, it’s just not helpful to me. For someone who just needs someone to talk with it could be useful.

I want to believe that everyone has access to mental health services on demand. But good luck finding help for yourself or a family member when nobody is available in your area. Talkspace? Nope. Lyra? Nope. All take time and can’t do ASAP. Sibly is pretty awesome and ALWAYS available. THIS is how you deliver care. Idk how they do it, but it works!!!!!! Wow!!!!!
