User Reviews

Users like the clean UI and strong Apple Watch integration, especially the watch complication showing steps and rings. However, persistent problems with inaccurate counts, poor syncing between iPhone/Watch/HealthKit, and watch complications not updating dominate feedback. Many want more customization (color options, numeric readouts, multiple complication types) and widget support. These feature gaps and consistency issues are the most frequently mentioned downsides.

Pros

Clean, simple, and elegant UI that is easy to use.
Strong Apple Watch integration with a useful watch complication that shows total steps and daily/weekly goal rings.

Cons

Inaccurate step counting and distance calculations, with discrepancies versus real distance and HealthKit data.
Frequent syncing issues between iPhone and Apple Watch (steps not matching across devices, and HealthKit discrepancies).
Watch complications often fail to update in the background and require reopening the app to refresh.
Lack of customization and features: no widget support, no numeric readout in complications, and limited color/font options (desirable two complication types).
Some users also report settings access issues or changes after updates that disrupt usage.

Great for the price

I am not sure if it accurately counts steps, but it does not calculate distance correctly. I just finished a walk, with correctly measured distances between waypoints. This app. calculated 4.3 miles traveled, wherein the actual distance walked is 5.4 miles; 5.4 miles is what an Apple Watch calculated.
