CWGC Thiepval

The Thiepval app allows you to discover more about the individuals who fought and died around the Somme during the Great War.

The app is a powerful tool that allows you to search for all the casualties (over 72,000) who are commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. This includes a detailed plan of the memorial that allows you to quickly find the panel on which their name is inscribed. Only individuals commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial are part of this app.

The app also offers a timeline where you can view the number of casualties per year, month and day, with the possibility to obtain a list of individuals who died on a specific day.

Finally the app offers over 900 individual stories of those who fought and died on the Somme.
