User Reviews

Many users praise Do Habits for its clean design and strong tracking features (units, reminders, schedules, charts) and Apple Watch support. However, recurring issues include lag and crashes, persistent billing/subscription frustrations, cross-device/time-zone data problems, and slow or unresponsive support. A subset also requests more widgets and a desktop version. Overall, the app is capable and trusted by long-time users, but reliability and support concerns are commonly cited.
Pros
  • Clean, minimal design that's pleasant and easy to use for tracking habits.
  • Robust habit-tracking features including unit tracking, customizable reminders, and schedules with helpful progress charts.
  • Good Apple Watch support that integrates into daily routines.
  • Long-time users report it helps them maintain streaks and build consistency.
Cons
  • Lag, slowness, and occasional crashes that disrupt daily use.
  • Billing and subscription issues, including unexpected charges and paywalls for features users already paid for.
  • Sync across devices and time-zone handling problems leading to data inconsistencies or loss.
  • Poor or unresponsive customer support or email replies.
  • Limited widget options and no desktop version.

This app was one of the best habit trackers, but now is just glitchy and slow. It frequently has UI lag and doesn’t respond to user input. And worst of all, I can’t export my data to move to another app because it hangs on the CSV export. I’ve emailed support twice and received no response. I decided to not renew this year. Once a great app, now slow and poorly supported. Recommend avoiding.

Since some of the newer updates, for whatever reason the app just doesn’t load anything at all and doesn’t allow me to click or do anything. My iphone is one of the newer models so it’s not an update thing.

I’ve been using this app for years and it’s been helping me keep good habits- I have a streak that’s 47 months long. But it’s been really laggy and crashes a lot lately. It’s disappointing. I’d rather not move to another app but I’m starting to feel like I’m being forced to.
