Stay informed and safe with myAlerts by Konexus. This Chrome extension brings emergency alerts, severe weather warnings, and important community updates into one place. Add the places that matter - home, work, your child's school, or a loved one's residence - and enable location monitoring to receive alerts wherever you go.

Severe weather comes in real time from the National Weather Service and is customizable per location and severity. Public safety alerts from participating agencies cover events that threaten you, including active shooter incidents, hazardous materials, wildfires, and evacuations. Community notifications alert you to local road closures and outages. If a location isn't covered by a Konexus-connected agency, you'll still get weather alerts but not local safety or community updates. Recent reviews

Do NOT rely on this to save your life, or even warn you of potential danger. The sheer lack of notices should be criminal for an app that claims to alert you to potential danger. Took HOURS to get emergency notifications regarding the tsunami in Hawai’i. After the trama of the wild fires I have this app to provide me up-to-the-minute emergency updates. NOT to not get any notifications and when I do open the app it’s unable to even load my location.
