Features & Capabilities

Bluetooth Streamer Pro lets you stream audio from your phone to Bluetooth devices that support Hands-Free Protocol (HFP), such as certain car stereos, headsets, and hearing aids. The app simulates a phone call to enable playback and does not modify the original audio; sound is mono and cannot be improved.

You can download for free and test across multiple sources and targets for 7 days. After the trial, you’ll be asked to purchase to continue streaming. This works best with devices that support HFP; results can vary, and A2DP-only systems may not benefit. Test on your equipment during the trial to verify compatibility.

User Reviews

Users report the app generally works to stream music to car stereos lacking proper Bluetooth for music, with easy setup and useful compatibility. However, sound quality is often poor (mono, little bass), reliability can be spotty, and billing/trial processes are sometimes confusing or fail. Compatibility is not guaranteed across all vehicles. Overall, it’s a practical workaround with notable audio tradeoffs and some purchasing friction.
Pros
  • Works as advertised to stream music to a car stereo when the car's Bluetooth doesn't support music, improving in‑car usability.
  • Easy setup with no extra hardware required and often cheaper than upgrading the radio.
  • Broad compatibility across car models and apps (Audible, etc.).
  • Transparent about limitations and offers a trial to test before buying.
  • Useful for enabling streaming from the phone to a factory radio without adapters or cables.
Cons
  • Audio quality is generally poor or mono (little to no bass; sometimes distorted), not true stereo.
  • Reliability can be inconsistent; connections can drop or the app may not work reliably over time.
  • Billing/trial issues and unclear pricing; post‑trial purchases can fail or be unavailable, and pricing isn’t always transparent.
  • Compatibility is not guaranteed for every car or setup; some users report it works in some models but not others.

Definitely works, sound quality isn’t the best, but way better then just playing music off my phone in my car!! Thanks so much!

It does exactly as I expected it to. Sound quality is a little less than your stereo because it acts like it’s a phone call but really nice for cars that unfortunately don’t have the right Bluetooth version or protocol. My car is a Honda 2010 pilot touring and I couldn’t play Bluetooth music before this app. I had to use an aux cord.

I’m going a different route, but the app developers are doing everything right. They disclose the limitations of the technology, and provide a fully functional trial so you can see if it’s a good fit.
