PWEditor is a code-focused text editor optimized for source code, HTML, Markdown, and other text formats. It features syntax highlighting, line numbers, undo/redo, search/replace, multiple file editing, and a live HTML/Markdown preview, plus font customization, FTP access, and an image/PDF viewer.

Cloud integration is supported via iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and Box, with Sphere Engine-powered online compilation (account required; languages vary). This Chrome extension is currently maintained as PWEditor, with new features released in PWEditor Next. The only negative is that seems to not be updated. I don’t any more features. Just trying to stay current with Apple is almost a full time job. I would buy this app for $5 to turn off the ads.

How in the world do you use this thing? I tried so many times and I cannot even make a single font! Please tell me how to use

It will edit text just fine but when I edited an include .txt file, it did not encode UTF-8 or the line ending was not UNIX (LF), the ‘JavaScript include’ stopped working.
