Features & Capabilities

NuvitaCorSync for athletes. Turn your iOS device into your Nuvita Cardio companion. Measure your VO2max (fitness level) in just 5 minutes using heart rate variability. Then the perfect plan will be developed based upon your measured fitness level.

For your exercise session track your heart rate and time in/above/below your personal zone. View a real-time graph of your heart rate and map your session and share on the Nuvita wellness wall or Facebook.

Review your history, see your past workouts in graph or map mode.

HealthKit - Integration: Apple's Health app Integration - You can turn on "Health Integration" from the more tab. This will save your workout data to Apple's Health app. This will also allow you to perform a workout using Apple's workout app on the watch to receive credit for your workout. Any workouts saved to the HealthKit database will be synced if this is turned on.

Works with iPhone 4S and above. Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

User Reviews

NuvitaCorSync offers strong accountability through photos, challenges, and coaching, and is favored by gyms for virtual coaching. However users report frequent crashes and login issues, poor stability, multiple launch failures, and unreliable performance. Photo upload and media saving problems are common, including timeouts, duplicates, and failures to save progress photos. Measurement/metrics syncing is inconsistent, with freezing entries and HealthKit/scale sync failures. Overall, the app provides valuable coaching and accountability but remains plagued by stability and data reliability issues that hinder everyday use.
Pros
  • Strong accountability features (photo logging, progress tracking, and challenges) that motivate and drive results.
  • Valuable virtual coaching and expert guidance (access to exercise physiologists and nutritionists) with remote coaching.
  • User-friendly and engaging interface that's easy to use and keeps users motivated.
  • Broad gym adoption and community support; clubs report the app helps coaching programs.
Cons
  • Frequent instability: crashes, login failures, and launches that prevent workouts.
  • Photo upload and media issues: errors uploading progress or meal photos, timeouts, duplicates, and photos not saving.
  • Measurement and metric syncing problems: freezing entry screens, data not saved, and HealthKit/scale sync failures.
  • Data loss and unreliable tracking: workouts and data can drop between sessions.

I’m sure the app would be great to use but it keeps crashing — can’t even login

Unbelievable, I know. Mind you, I’ve been really fit off and on my whole life. The last last injury sidelined me. I got chubby; and was miserable. I started using this app at the recommendation of a colleague. I’ve always been great with exercise: consistency, intensity, and duration. (Unless injured). My week point? I love food. I cook really healthy food. But? I was eating too much. The app had me take pics of my food, and it made me accountable to someone on the other end. It worked. The Challenge was like a contest… which I can never resist. It worked like crazy. 5% body fat reduction in 6 weeks. Wowwww! Mind you, I have always listed weights. So? My muscles hypertrophied pretty quickly, because they were already there… just shrunken from disuse. Anyway. I love the App. LOVE IT. I did have a few technical issues. But? That’s how I roll. There tech support is awesome!

Won’t sync with body comp scale. Heart rate monitors are tiny and must go on forearm which is awkward when working out. Terrible experience so far.
