User Reviews

Pros: NaviLink provides detailed usage analytics (kWh, hours, energy data), remote app access/control, scheduling features, and homeowner-focused insights into system usage. Cons: frequent connectivity issues and data loss on reinstall, limited data/controls (no zone or current tank temps; basic on/off/schedule), confusing setup (Bluetooth vs Wi-Fi flow), and reportedly poor customer support. UI/UX is clunky and feature gaps exist (no hot-button control, limited recirculation options). Overall, reviews praise data and remote access but repeatedly cite reliability and usability problems.
Pros
  • Detailed usage analytics (kWh, hours, energy data) beyond what the heater's display shows.
  • Remote app access and control of the heater.
  • Scheduling features for heat cycles, useful for home energy management.
  • Provides homeowner-focused insights into system usage and energy consumption.
Cons
  • Frequent connectivity issues and unreliable pairing; often requires reinstall and can result in data loss.
  • Limited data and controls: cannot view zones, current tank temperatures, or pressures; only basic on/off and schedule.
  • Confusing setup flow, with Bluetooth vs Wi-Fi pairing and looping issues.
  • Poor customer service reported by users.
  • Clunky UI/UX and feature gaps (no hot-button trigger, limited recirculation options).

WiFi doesn’t work, can’t connect to or find the device. Extremely glitchy.

App fails to connect to unit routinely. Have to delete unit and reinstall by pushing WiFi button even though it is connected (mxchip)to WiFi. Unreliable. All data is lost since it assumes it is a new install. App also fails to provide full menu access. Temp and scheduling only.

Can not directly turn on the recirculator. Probably because it would replace the awkward red button.
