User Reviews

Moodfit provides a robust all-in-one set of mental health tools—mood tracking, CBT journaling, breathing exercises, reminders, and trend insights—that many users find grounding and growth-oriented. However, recurring bugs and connection issues, unreliable daily-goal tracking, and occasional slow performance reduce reliability. Overall, it remains highly valuable for those who can tolerate some instability.
Pros
  • Comprehensive mood tracking with journaling and CBT-based prompts that reveal patterns and support personal growth.
  • All-in-one toolkit including breathing exercises, grounding techniques, reminders, mood insights, and long-term trend data, not just a mood tracker.
  • Easy to use for daily check-ins with clear visuals; quick logging and charts that show links between mood, sleep, activities, and thoughts; cross-device syncing (iPad and iPhone).
Cons
  • Frequent bugs and connectivity issues causing freezes, failed logs, and occasional data loss or streak disruptions.
  • Inaccurate or inconsistent daily goals tracking, with goals sometimes marked as completed when they’re not or not updating properly.
  • Occasional slow performance and reliability problems that hinder responsiveness and overall usability.

Since I have been using this app I have found a new way to understand my personal experiences with coworkers and friends. It has been very beneficial for me to look at the bigger picture and realize it isn’t always my fault that someone is having a bad day

Moodfit has become one of the most meaningful parts of my daily routine. It’s helped me stay calm, be more present, and clearly see the patterns behind my moods, something I didn’t notice I needed. As I logged consistently, I realized how much my emotional state improves after exercise, socializing, or moments of gratitude. Moodfit makes those links incredibly easy to see, and that clarity has been grounding and motivating. Even my not so good days make more sense now, which makes them easier to navigate. I’ve tried many wellness apps, but this is the first one that actually supports real growth. The journaling prompts, mood insights, and long-term trends have genuinely improved my mental health and self-awareness. I love it so much I’ve even gifted it to friends, this should not be kept a secret from those we love. If you’re looking for something that goes beyond tracking and truly helps you understand yourself, Moodfit is perfect. Highly recommend it.

I used Moodfit for tracking my mood, habits, and stress. It was quite easy to use it for my needs, and it really helped me observe patterns after some time. All that said, the charts make it easier for me to see how my sleep, activities, and thoughts relate to one another. In class, we discussed evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Moodfit incorporates some elements of CBT, particularly the thought record that teaches the identification and challenging of cognitive distortions maintaining states of depression and anxiety. The breathing and grounding exercises within the app also relate to the process of reducing physiological effects common in anxiety disorders. Obviously It does not replace therapy, but it does apply, in general, some very useful and well-organized psychological techniques.
