User reviews show campersAPP has strengths in nearby campground search and booking, park-wide reminders, and a feature-rich toolkit (weather, flashlight, compass). However, reliability and usability concerns dominate: frequent crashes and reloads, a weak calendar lacking date cues and search, an intrusive or hard-to-disable notification system, and inconsistent content/booking details that depend on individual parks. Improvements to stability, calendar usability, notification controls, and clear availability/rates would substantially improve the app.

Pros

Easy to find and book campgrounds near you via the app.
15-minute push reminders for park activities are useful for attendees and managers.
Rich feature set (weather, flashlight, compass, activity info) when the app is functioning.
Helpful for park managers to keep guests up to date on park happenings.

Cons

Frequent stability issues: crashes, needing to delete/reload, and poor performance especially with weak connectivity.
Calendar lacks essential features: no current-date indication and no search, making it hard to find future events.
Too many push notifications with little control: cannot disable or easily manage alerts.
Booking information often incomplete: inability to see availability or rates as advertised; inconsistencies in booking flow.

Recent reviews

The quality of the content is dependent upon what the park puts in, so you get what you get. That said, the calendar is a core component of the app and it leaves a lot to be desired. When scrolling through events there’s no indication of what the current date is. Nor is there any search functionality — a most basic feature! This makes finding future events in the calendar next to impossible.
