Features & Capabilities

From the perspective of a color blind person, Sim Daltonism visualizes colors as they appear under various color-blind conditions. Point your camera to see through red–green, blue–yellow, or monochromacy simulations, helping you understand how designs, photos, and drawings look to others.

The app is open source and can be used to improve accessibility, analyze color choices in art, and gain a better understanding of the world from a color-blind viewpoint. Note that simulations are approximations and may vary with lighting and camera calibration.

Some requests recur: importing from camera roll, labeling which color-blind type is active, and feature ideas like VR mode or non-human vision. Overall, it’s regarded as essential, reliable, and easy to use.

I was wondering if y’all can add an option for cat and dog vision, we already know they see less colors than us, the closest I can find to cat vision based on my research is protanomaly but it’s not exact, something like this would help with buying toys my cats will actually play with, plus I wana see the world through thier eyes
