Recent reviews
As a customer in the diaspora, I have struggled for years with the FirstMobile app because I do not have a First Bank ATM card. On several occasions, I downloaded the app, attempted to register, became frustrated by the ATM card requirement, and eventually deleted it. Recently, I decided to give the app another try, hoping the registration process had improved. I was pleasantly surprised to see that First Bank now allows customers to register using their BVN, which is a great improvement and shows that the bank is considering the needs of customers who may not have access to an ATM card. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. Although I was able to proceed with the BVN registration process, I repeatedly encountered errors at the final stage and was unable to complete my registration. After several attempts, I still could not gain access to the app. I appreciate the effort First Bank has made in introducing alternative registration methods, but the implementation needs improvement. If customers can successfully complete registration using BVN, especially those of us in the diaspora, it would greatly enhance the user experience and accessibility of the app. I hope the technical issues are addressed soon because this update has the potential to make banking much more convenient for many customers. Why is it difficult to emulate systems that are working? See Access mobile app, formerly diamond, pace-setter! More than a decade later and other banks are still lagging behind with their apps.

First of all this first mobile app is really a joke cause in the history of banking apps this has proven to be the worst. What’s the use of putting an app out there if it’s not fully functional?. You people should work on this app or remove it entirely and save us the users the stress of falling for this trap of an app

Thank God I moved most of my funds from your app before the so called “update” to your stupid app. I have not used debit cards for years. How would you make a card the ONLY way to login and call that an upgrade. If anything, it is a DOWNGRADE! I initially thought I was the only one having this terrible experience until I came to read the reviews online. Shame on the useless “elephant” bank, which is a huge insult to real elephants
