Recent reviews

The Buoys in Lake Michigan are mostly inactive and the very few are active don’t give wave information. The ones I that give wave information are incorrect and a complete waste of resources. The waves were reporting 1ft of waves on 9/11 2026 outside of Port Sheldon in the Grandhaven location. The waves had to be at least 3ft and very choppy. I do not recommend this app for Lake Michigan. Response to the developer: This would mean that the buoys are stationed in areas unprofitable for civilian use. What is the purpose of a buoy and its correlated data gathering supplied for the public in an app if not for trust-worthy data reporting? My rating was and description still uphold for the use in Lake Michigan. It would be dishonest of me to withhold my experience from other anglers expecting the nearest buoy to display accurate information for nearest areas use. I’m allowing the public to know of the uncertainty of water conditions despite the buoy’s data.
