User Reviews

Users consistently report that APPatient is hard to set up and log in, with URL-based authentication and cross-device issues. The app struggles with multi-provider access, limited data entry (meds, DOB), and poor document/viewing capabilities (receipts, PDFs). Support is seen as unhelpful, and the overall experience is plagued by glitches, unreliable links, and a cumbersome UI. The result is frequent frustration and questions about whether to continue using the app.

Onboarding and login process is extremely cumbersome: repeated requests for a practice URL, confusing authentication, and unstable codes.
Cannot access more than one doctor without logging out and in repeatedly; switching providers is difficult; multi-provider support is poor.
Limited data entry: meds list is incomplete; no manual med entry; no keyboard on iPad; DOB must be selected via scrolling rather than manual input.
Cannot view or print copay receipts or documents; documents are too small to read; cannot export to print; issues with document viewing.
Support and guidance is weak: lack of real help, broken links, and forcing users to contact their doctor's office for assistance.

Recent reviews

In the 2+ years that my I have used this app as a patient I have never had a session where some portion of the app didn’t fail - sometimes the messages, sometimes the appointments, sometimes the Home Screen. Something always fails. If your doctor uses this app the best thing that you can do is stay in touch with your doctor’s office through something other than this app.
